I am immensely delighted that our Chandpur Govt. Mahila College, one of the sky-high reputed institutions of the country, is going to open its own website in compliance with the expectation of the Ministry of Education. It is not unknown to any institutionally conscious individual that now it is the era of science and technology. Science and technology are pervasively related. With the scientific inventions, innovations and discoveries the world of today is advancing a lot. With a view to interacting globally this college has taken this cherished and time-befitting attempt of introducing website. I do believe and hope that this auspicious introduction will surely help all concerned create further advancement

Chandpur Women's College Picture
Chandpur Govt. Women’s College is a government college in the district of Chandpur, Bangladesh. It is one of the renowned and leading institution in the field of women’s education in Bangladesh. The college was founded in 1964 by the eager efforts of the then SDO Nurul Kadir Khan along with the association of honorable educationists and the contribution of venerable local people. Jubily High School (now Hasan Ali Govt. High School) and the hostel of Goni High School (Presently Administrative building of the College) were handed over to the College Authority in exchange of the sum of TK.10,000/-(Ten Thousand).The College commenced its journey by opening Science and Humanities groups in the Higher Secondary Certificate Level.
By the time a four storied building, a science building and two hostels were also built. In 1969, BA and BBS Course were introduced. In the year 1984, the College was nationalized and thus become a Government College. Honour’s course was started in Bangla and History in the academic year 2006-07 and in English and Social work in 2009-10. In the same year (2009-10) Business Studies in HSC level was also introduced.
Now the total students of this institution is about 2800 along with 28 teachers. There are three hostels having capacity of 250 students within the campus of the college with enough protection and security. The aesthetic beauty is undouflly pleasant for the students.
